Year of our Lord eighteenhundred and forty five betweenHenry F. Birk
and Elizabeth A his wife of teh County of Platt and State of Missouri
of the first part and Neume[r]i[s] Ham[b]er of the County and State
aforesaid ofthe second part witnesseth that the said party of th first
part for andin consideration of the sume of Sixteen Hundred dollars
to them inhand paid,the receipt whereof ishereby acknowledged have
granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant
bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said party of the second
part and to hisheirs and assigns forever a certain tract parcel or
piece of land situate lying and being in the County of Platte and
state aforesaide it being designated and known as the North East
quarter of Secion No. twenty seven of township fifty four of
Range thirty six contianing by estimation one hundred and sixty
acres more or less together with all and singular the appertances
and heredictaments thereunto belong or in any [?] appertances
To have and toholdunto the said party of the second part and to his heirs
assigns forever and the said party of the first part for themselves their heirs exec
utors and administrators agree to and with the said party of the second part
his heirs executors and administrators that the before described to wit parcel
or pieceofland and bargained prmise they will warrant and forever
defend against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons
whomsoever in witness whereof the said party of the firt part have
hereunto set thoer hand and seals this the day and year first above written
