They were married after banns by the vicar David Davies. The witnesses were Jane Hughes and Evan Williams.

The bestman was Evan's brother Jack Davies of London. The bride was "given away" by her brother Evan Williams, Llandovery Borough Surveyor. The bridesmaid was Miss J Hughes, The Post Office. The organist was Miss Roderick, Neuadd Arms. At the reception, speeches were made by the vicar and Lewis Roderick D.C. of Neuadd Arms. The Honeymoon was spent in Cardiff.
