Will
The Last Will and Testament of John Evans of Pentrebrain, Llanddewi Brefi.(St David's 1806. SD/1806/112 W)
The will was made on the 16th of October 1802 by John Evans of Pentrebrain.
To his wife Elizabeth, sole executrix, he leaves all his goods, effects, cattle, chattels, household furniture, ready money and sureties for money, all notes, bills, bonds and credits.
On her death all to go to his brother Roderick Evans.
Gifts -
To brother Roderick Evans - One plough and one harrow to be given immediately after his death.
To Roderick Evans Junior, his nephew of Coedygof, all his flock of sheep, male and female, lambs and yearlings,. Except for six that he leaves to his wife.
The said Roderick Evans, his nephew, will give all the wool after the first shearing to his wife.
Witnessed by David Jones and D. Evans.
John Evans signed with a cross.
The will was administered on the 21st of February 1806. All went to brother Roderick Evans.
