The following obit probably appeared in the December 27, 2012, Miami News:"Hannah Smith Rosenfeld, a native of Charlotte, NC, will return home for burial, three months shy of her 101st birthday. Born March 4, 1912, Hannah lived a rich, full life, having survived two beloved husbands, David Silvers and Nat Rosenfeld. Hannah was mother to Ileene (Charles) Wallace, grandmother ""Mimi"" to Dr. Keith (Dr. Andrea) Ruskin and Karen Ruskin (James Dalton) and great-grandmother to Daniel Ruskin and Mollie and Bradley Lipkowitz. She adored her many nieces, nephews and cousins. A devoted daughter and sister in her youth, a stylish and model wife and mother in mid-century, and a belated retiree to South Florida for the last 16 years of her life, Hannah passed away at her Bay Harbor Islands home on December 23rd. Those who loved her will forever treasure the memory of her spirit and strength and those fabulous hazel eyes. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Draesel, Dr. Tal Morr, and her nurses who lovingly extended her quality of life, Eastlyn West, Diane Rymer, Eleanor White, Jessie Coney and Vitas Hospice care. Private graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, December 27th, 1 PM, at The Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. The family respectfully requests donations to Surf Bal Bay PAL Program, 655 96th Street, Bal Harbour, FL 33154, in tribute to Hannah Rosenfeld."
