On September 12, 1914, the SS Cameronia left Glasgow, Scotland and arrived in New York City on September 21, 1914. On board were Abraham, Annie and Edith Miller. They were in second class and they had $1150 in their possession. Their last permanent residence was Glasgow, Scotland and their nearest relative there was a nephew, Israel Miller, living on Atholl Place in Dumfermline, Fife, Scotland. Their final destination was their cousin Abraham Levin living at 1916 Evergreen Ave. Chicago, Illinois. Abraham Miller, a 50 year old tailor born in Vilna, was 5'3' tall, dark complected, and had grey eyes and hair. Anna, a 48 year old housewife born in Mariampol, was 5 ft. 1/2 in. tall, dark complected, had grey eyes and hair, and had a small mark on the center of her left chest.Census (family)

The following obit appeared in the Aug 2, 1928, Chicago Tribune on page 26:"Abraham Miller, beloved husband of Annie, father of Solomon, Edith Glass,
Fannie Zaideman. Funeral services from late residence, 3244 Wabansia Av, Thursday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m., to Tipherea Zion Cemetery, Waldheim. Omit flowers."
