The following Obit appeared in the Cleveland Jewish News on October 16, 2008:"Irene Constance Gray (née Kalis), devoted wife of 62 years to Louis; loving mother of Nancy K, Daniel R and Wendy D died Oct. 5. She was 88. A Cleveland native, Mrs. Gray graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and Ohio University. Living on her own, she worked in the hat department of Halle's before marrying her husband, with whom she bought a house in Shaker Heights on the GI Bill. She devoted herself to raising her three children and helping with neighborhood and educational causes. Contributions may be made to public television. Arrangements under the direction of Berkowitz- Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel."
