The romantic news was revealed during the dinner serving at the Ultra Moderne Tearoom, where Miss Kraus and her mother, Mrs Esther Kraus, entertained the bride-elect's Aunts, closest friends and Eta Tau Delta sorority sisters. In the tiny blue-baskets filled with yellow roses at each place were cards to announce the betrothal. The couple has chosen no date for the wedding.
For the announcement party, Mr. Bernick's mother, Mrs. A. Bernick of St. Paul was present, and like Miss Kraus and her mother had a corsage to wear, a gift from the young man. Mr. Bernick, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernick, of St. Paul, has become acquainted in this region since corning here to be employed in the metallurgical department at the Inland Steel Company. He resides at 594 Forsythe Avenue.

Beneath a canopy of ferns and white peonies Miss Harriet Ann Kraus and Leslie M. Bernick stood to repeat their marriage vows in the ceremony that took place yesterday at noon in the Beth-El Temple. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Esther Kraus, 127 West Elizabeth Street, and is a well-known teacher in the Hammond school system. Mr. Bernick is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.
