On May 27, 1927 she filed a petition for naturalization. She stated that she was living at 422 West End Ave. and was born September 28, 1903 at Crayden, [sic] England. She left Liverpool on April 27, 1910, on the SS Teutonic and arrived in NYC on May 5, 1910. She married Leroy (Her first cousin) in September 1923. He had been born April 6, 1898. Her Declaration of Intention was not filed pursuant to the Cable Act of 1922. The document stated that Leroy was not a citizen. He had completed three years of college and she had completed three years of high school. She was naturalized and had been born in England.
