The following obit is probably from the November 1, 2004, Cleveland Plain Dealer:"Sylvia (Goodman) Woodle (nee Goodman), beloved wife of the late Edwin; loving mother of Marianne Vie and Linda Sara (Gideon) Eisenberg; devoted grandmother of Phoenix Vie, Dan Vie, Laurie Kovens and Jennifer Hyrkin; great grandmother of Sam and Andre Hyrkin; dear sister of Betty Gurney and the late Esther Fisher, Bernie and Sam Goodman. Private services were held. Family requests no visitation. Friends who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society - Hope Lodge. Arrangements under the direction of Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel."

"Sylvia Woodle, who was a teacher and performed at The Cleveland Play House, died on Oct., 27 at age 97. She belonged to The Temple-Tifereth Israel and was affiliated with the Girl Scouts. Mrs. Woodle enjoyed sculpturing, toy-making, doing crafts and illustrating. A native Clevelander, she earned a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. Surviving Mrs. Woodle are daughters Marianne Vie and Linda Sara Eisenberg; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Hope Lodge or the American Cancer Society."
