On October 16, 1940, he registered for the WW II draft at Draft Board 31 in Cleveland, Ohio. The person who would always know has address was his wife, Molly Teitelbaum. They lived at 3301 E 142nd St. He was self employed at 2039 E. 100th St. He was 5 ft 11 in tall and weighed 185 pounds; he had brown hair and eyes.Miscnote
The following are the 1972 recollections of Pearl Lukin:"Abraham's son Ben was going to Medical School at Case University. A few weeks after Abraham Teitelbaum died his son graduated from Case University and he went on to pharmacology school there. He graduated in 1941, took some pre-medical school prerequisites and entered Ohio State University Medical School. He finished in 1945 and became an intern at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland."

Internist for over 40 years
Dr. Benjamin B. Teitelbaum, an internist for over 40 years, died on Aug. 31, five years before his 95th birthday. A native Clevelander, he graduated from Central High School and was Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude at Adelbert college. Following graduation from Western Reserve University Medical School he interned at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Teitelbaum volunteered in the Mt. Sinai Dispensary for over 25 years. He was in private practice and on the staff of Mt. Sinai, Suburban and Hillcrest hospitals. Following his retirement in 1980 he was the director of the employee health clinic at Suburban hospital until 1985. Dr. Teitelbaum was a member of Phi Lambda Kappa medical fraternity, the American Medical Association, the Temple-Tifereth Israel and a founding member of Hawthorne Valley Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf and tennis. He also enjoyed playing bridge.
Dr. Teitelbaum was predeceased by a daughter, Marsha. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Molly: sons, Dr. Alan of San Francisco and David; a brother, Dr. Samuel; and six grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Dr. Benjamin B. Teitelbaum fund c/o Alzheimer’s Association of Montefiore Home
