Probate
The estate entered probate in 1772 and the distributions of the estate property were made 18 Apr 1777, after the death of the widow Abigail, in the following manner: eldest son Philip Abbott allotted two-sixths of the estate; second son James Abbott; son Abiel Abbott; daughter Abigail; and daughter Anne. Each of the younger children receive one-sixth part of the estate.Death
