On 23 January 1776, William Lovejoy ofSharon, in consideration of £20, conveyed 80 acres in Sharon to Andrew Lovejoy(his brother). On 18 February 1782, William Lovejoy for the love and affectionhe held for his brother John Lovejoy property in Sharon adding that William asthe eldest son of Richard Lovejoy had the rights to this property.[1] On 14 August 1782,William Lovejoy of Sharon, Vermont, for love and goodwill, deeded to his sonDaniel the 100-acre property William received from his father Richard in 1774. On21 August 1798, William Lovejoy and Oliver Lovejoy, for payment of four hundreddollars, quitclaimed to Daniel Lovejoy any rights to the second hundred-acrelot in Sharon that was part of the original grant to Robert Miller.
