Probate
In her will written 3 October 1796 (proved 2 December 1800), Mary Barrett bequeaths to eldest daughter Hannah the great rocking chair, the woolen wheel, the linen wheel, and other household items. Daughter Priscilla receives one cow, three sheep, and a list of household items. She bequeaths to each of her sons, Daniel and Samuel, five shillings. Daughters Hannah and Priscilla are to make a fair estimate of the linen and all the wearing apparel which value to be divided by thirds with one-third each to Priscilla and Hannah and one-third to the heirs of daughter Martha.
