Individual Details
Emily Jane Harned
(7 Nov 1822 - 28 Nov 1911)
Emily and William had seven children, but only two of the children, Mary Ella and the youngest Martha Amy survived infancy. Three boys (William, James, and Cyrus) and two girls (Emily and Sarah) died before the age of four. I have not located the death certificates so cannot comment on the causes of death. Martha Amy married William Esler and is our great grandmother. Mary Ella Tappan married Franklin Marsh and she is the mother of Emily Tappan Marsh.
