Connecticut. Probate Court (Windham District); Probate Place: Windham, Connecticut, Probate Records volume 2, pp 94-95In his will dated 23 April 1735 (proved 25 June 1735), Humphrey Ballard bequeathed to his beloved wife Hannah all his lands in Northfield and 40 acres of land in Hartford County to belong to her and her heirs and assigns forever. Hannah also receives all the personal estate in order to be able to provide for their children. Children Zebulon, John, David, Joseph, and Jeremiah receive the right of land in Hartford except that given to Hannah.
