Death
There is a death transcription for Dorcas Hall daughter of Ebenezer Hall and Dorcas Abbott for 5 September 1823, but that is an obvious error. The estate of Dorcas Cilley entered probate 18 January 1815 with Bela Carter as administrator. It is known that Dorcas remarried to Benjamin Cilley as in her last accounting as administrator of Ephraim Carter's estate in 1809 she signs as Dorcas Cilley. Published genealogies give her date of death as 5 September 1813. Of course, that would mean that there was a 16 month delay between her death and probate but that is possible.Probate
