Probate
Ebenezer Hall wrote his will 8 June 1791. Beloved wife Dorcas receives the income from one-half of his real estate and one-half of the cattle during her natural life and all the household items. Beloved son Ebenezer receives a 60-acre lot in Warner. Beloved daughter Hephzibah Hazeltine receives £3. Well beloved son Obadiah receives six shillings. Beloved daughter Dorcas Carter receives £3. Beloved daughter Sarah Hazeltine also receives £3. Beloved sons Daniel, Timothy, and Abiel each receive six shillings. Daughter Lydia Cavis receives $8 as does daughter Deborah Barker. Beloved son Stephen receives the whole of the real estate in Concord. Son Stephen is also the sole executor of the estate. The 7 July 1801 inventory of the estate of Ebenezer Hall included real estate valued at $3,475.[1] The son Ebenezer Hall mentioned in the will is Ebenezer’s son from his first marriage to Hephzibah Farnum.[1] New Hampshire Wills and Probate Records 1643-1982, Probate of Ebenezer Hall, Rockingham, 5 May 1801, Case number 6818.
