Probate
New Hampshire. Probate Court (Rockingham County); Probate Place: Rockingham, New Hampshire, Estate Papers, No 8833-8916, 1814, Case 8845John Noyes did not leave a will and his estate entered probate 13 April 1814. Widow Martha Noyes requested that her father Jacob Green of Bow be named administrator. Jacob Green died in 1815 and administration was then assumed by Samuel Green of Concord. Real estate consisted of twenty acres with buildings valued at $300 and twenty-five acres of woodland valued at $150. Personal estate was valued at 156.12. Claims against the estate exceeded the inventory. A petition was made by Samuel Green to sell two-thirds of the real estate noting also the need to provide support for the widow and two minor children under age seven years.
