Joseph Chandler

(8 Jun 1743 - 8 Jan 1834)

After his father's death, Joseph was brought up at the home of his uncle James Chandler in Rowley. He went to sea as a young adolescent and sailed to the West Indies at age 14. The Chandler Genealogy Book, p. 213. (The book by George Chandler)

He served in the Revolutionary War in Captain Jesse Page's company. He was at Saratoga and Stillwater, and at the taking of General Burgoyne.

The children are complete.
