But there are no children that could be his that are listed as heirs in the settlement of brother Nathan's estate in 1870 -- and the other living nieces and nephews are listed -- so probably he did not have children or marry. There are two other Joshua Abbotts born about the same time in Andover who could have married Fanny. And it is pretty certain that Joshua Abbott son of Solomon Abbott and Lucy Frye married Fanny because one of their children was Lucy Frye Abbott.
