Robert Swan did not leave a will and Joseph Swan was administrator of the estate. Widow Susanna Swan petitioned the Court for allowance for her necessities from the personal estate, and she was allowed to select items from the personal estate in the amount of one hundred and fifty dollars for her personal needs. The total value of the personal estate was $171.75. One-third part of the real estate was set off for the dower.
