In the name of God Amen the 10th day of February in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and fifty nine I Job Thorp of Woodbridge in the county of Middlesex and province of East New Jersey being in good health and perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye so make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hands of God that gave it and for my body I recommend it to the earth to be buried in a christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general ressurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and so touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless men in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form --In the first place my will is that all my lands useages and tenements and all my moveable estate be sold by executors except a piece of Salt marsh or meadow and all my just and lawfull debts and funeral charges paid and discharged out of the same - Imprimis I give and bequeath unto Sarah my dearly beloved wife the sum of one hundred pound current money of East New Jerces and eight shillings pr ounce in full of the lew of her dowry.Item I give to my well beloved son Joseph Thorp the sum of one hundred pounds current money at eight shillings pr oz. Item I give to my well beloved son Icabod Thorp the sum of one hundred pounds of current money as above said. Item I give to my well beloved son David Thorp the sum of one hundred pounds current money as above said. Item I give to my well beloved son Paul Thorp the sum of one hundred pounds current money as above said. Item I give to my well beloved daughter Mary Thorp the sum of one pound current money as above said. Item I give to my well beloved daughter Cumah Thorp the sum of one pound current money as above said Item I give to my well beloved son Ruben Thorp the sum of one pound current money as above said. Item I give to my well beloved daughter Jennet Thorp the sum of one pound current money as above said. And further my will is that after all my just debts and funeral charges and the above written legacys be paid and discharged the remainder of my estate I give to my well beloved wife Sarah Thorp. And if either of my four eldest sons should 26 dye without issue lawfullly begotten his or their legaces shall be equally divided among the surviving one brothers, the sons which I had by my first wife Mary Thorp - and otherwise I constitute make and ordain my trusty friends Jacob Fitzrandolph and David Evans for my one and sole executors of this my last will and testament and do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannull all and every other former testaments wills legacy and executors by me in any ways before this time named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
