Biography
Elizabeth married William Parker on 23 December 1780. Early in 1781, William with his brother Samuel enlisted from Partridgefield in the company of Capt. Stephen Clapp. Troops marched south to Virginia and William Parker died there in 1781. The Revolutionary War pension file of Samuel Parker includes a statement dated 5 September 1832 from Nathan Mann of Byron, New York giving evidence of Samuel’s service and Nathan Mann reported that he married William’s widow. The statement also notes that Elizabeth was then deceased (1832).1I think I put the right pension file with William’s brother Sameul –
