In his will written 22 September 1805 (proved 18February 1806), Ebenezer Eaton of Bradford bequeathed to beloved wife Hannahwhile she is a widow one-third part of the yearly income of the home farm andone-third of the income of the farm on which son-in-law William Ayers nowlives, two cows, one horse, and all the household furniture excepting threebeds. Son Samuel Eaton, with the property to go to Samuel’s heirs after Samuel’sdecease, one-half of the home farm, one-half the stock animals, one-half thefarming tools, and one-half the wearing apparel. Son Elisha, and then passingto his heirs, receives the other half of the farm. Daughter Nabby Ayers wife ofWilliams Ayers, and then descending to her heirs after her decease, he leavesone-half of his other farm in Bradford containing 200 acres of lot 79.
