In his will written 30 October1854 (probate 1 July 1855), Cyrus Barr of Beetown, Wisconsin bequeathed onehundred dollars to his sister Charlotte Stowell. He left fifty dollars to Mrs.Samuel Moore of Bedford, New Hampshire. Three hundred and fifty dollars was setaside to defray the cost of his burial in Bedford, New Hampshire. He designatedfive hundred dollars to improve the lot in Bedford with the burying ground ofhis father’s family. Sister Charlotte is to receive the income of one-third ofhis estate during her life. The remainder of the estate was left to brotherTimothy F. Barr and Frank Barr. Total estate value was $14,214.12.[1]
