Samuel Barr did notleave a will and his estate entered probate 23 December 1824 with widow Anna asadministratrix. Real estate was valued at $2,000 and personal estate at $1,370.74.Debts were $63.77. On 16 February 1826, Joshua Vose of Bedford was selected asguardian to Timothy F. Barr and Charlotte Barr minors over age fourteen yearschildren of Samuel Barr. On the same date, Joshua Vose was named as guardian toFranklin Barr and Cyrus Barr minors under the age of fourteen.[1]
