The will of Joseph Phelps includes bequests to the following persons: beloved wife Elisabeth, beloved son Joseph gets some oxen and a yoke to make up the rest of his part, beloved son Elisha gets carpenter tools to make up the rest of his part, beloved daughters Hannah, Elisabeth, Lydia, and Tryphenea get one dollar each (which is in addition to what he has already given them). Legacies at the final settlement are to Hannah Adams, Elizabeth Harrington, Lydia Whittemore, Tryphena Russell, Elisha Phelps, and Joseph Phelps.
