Jay and Dorothy adopted Brent and Jake in 2000 after Family Services took them away from Gerianne because she was taking drugs and alcohol. Dee had tried to raise them on his own but he was trucking and gambling. Dee and Geri are on the right path now and the kids are living with them again.
