Helen Frances Larsen, 89. of the town of Troy, died Easter Sunday, April 20, at the American Heritage Care Center in Hammond.
She was born April 4, 1914, on the family farm in the town of Troy, the daughter of Leo and Mary Jane (Fable) Rohl. She received her schooling at Pleasant View School in Troy.
On September 22, 1938, she was married to Alfred Robert Larsen at St. Patrick's Catholic church in Hudson.
She was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church in River Falls.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Alfred, in 1988; six siblings, Norbert, Harold, Edwin and Kennth Rohl, Gertrude Ryan and Marie Dusek.
Surviving are two children, Deborah Larsen of Marathon and John "Jack" Larsen of Hudson.
Visitation was Tuesday, 4-7 p.m., at O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson and one hour prior to the Mass at St. Bridget's church on Wednesday.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in River Falls with Father Gerald Harris officiating. Music was provided by the church choir.
Burial was in St. Parick's Catholic Cemetery in Hudson; casketbearers were Lawrence (Joan) Rohl, Jon (Maxine) Shikgen, Paul (Rose) Dusek, Christ (Sheila) Rohl, Bill (Susan) Gnatzig and Norman (Mary) Huppert.
