Lurenia Roettger
Lurenia Roettger, 80, of Stillwater, and formerly of St. Josepj Township, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 4, 1910, in St. Joseph Township, the daughter of Carl and Clara (Fenner) Wolf.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Adolph B. Roettger, in 1970, and a sister, Alma Davidson.
Survivors include four sons, Earl H. of Grantsburg and Adolph J., Ronald and Donald, all of St. Joseph Township; six grandchildren, Kenneth, Brian, Mary Jo, Michael, Molly and Tracy; a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Rose; and a sister, Mrs. Ella Stock.
Services were Saturday, Feb. 2, at Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Fractures Skull in Fall From Hay Loft to Floor of Barn
Charles Wolf, who resides on a farm in the town of St. Joe just north of Hudson, suffered a fractured skull and other serious injuries when he fell from the hay loft to the cement floor of the barn Monday afternoon while doing the evening chores. Mr. Wolf was discovered in an unconscious condition by his daughter when he failed to return to the house some time later.
The injured man was taken to the Lakeview Memorial Hospital at Stillwater, where his condition is reported as very serious.
