Jeanette Riedel, 78, of 812 Ninth St., died Friday afternoon in the emergency roon of Hudson Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home.
She was born August 24, 1906 in Hudson, the daughter of Albert and Josie Christianson Anderson. She attended Hudson High school.
She spent her entire life in Hudson and was a member of the Bethel Lutheran church.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick, a resident of Christian Community Home of Hudson; a son, Paul, of Maple Grove, Minnesota; a daughter, Mrs. Aldon (Janice) Forsythe of 824 Elm St.,; a brother, Frederick Anderson of Eau Claire; three sisters, Clarice Andeson of 1111 Eighth St., Mrs. Phillip B. (Gertrude) Swasey, 703 Third St., and mrs. James (June) Jacobsen, 717 Myrtle St.; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Ethel Leona Anderson.
Visitation was Sunday, April 21, at Murphy Funeral Home. Services were 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 22, at Bethel Lutheran church with the Rev. L. Donald Docken, pastor, officiating.
Interment was in Willow River Cemetery. Pallbearers wer Rick Riedel, Danial Riedel, Robert Riedel, Thomas Forsyth, Conrad Rehn and Rickey Riedel.

Hudson, and Mr. Frederick Riedel, also of Hudson, surprised theirfriends, when on Wednesday, October 22, they motored to St. Paul and were married.The ceremony too place at four o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran parsonage, Rev.A.C. Haase, officiating.
The bride wasattended by her sister, Miss Gertrude Anderson, and the groom, by Mr. HaroldClark.
Mr. and Mrs.Riedel will make their home at the William Bonnes residence on Fifth and RiverSts., after November 3rd.
