Eleanor Louise "Nellie" Karras

Miss Nellie Karras, 25, who died suddently at her home in St. Paul Wednesday evening was buried in the Catholic Cemetery here Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Paul.
Miss Karras, who had been home for more than a year after having received treatment for tuberculosis at a sanatorium near Milwaukee for four years, was thought to have fully recovered from her illness. Her physcian had advised her that she was well enough to take employment. She died after an illness of only a few hours.
Miss Karras, whose home at the time of her death was at 721 E. Sixth St., St. Paul, was a graduate of Hudson High School, class of 1931.
Survivors include her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Karras, and her brother, Albert Karras. Pall bearers, all cousins, were Alfred, Louis and Joe Larson, and Glenn, Lyle and Leonard Waxon.
