Leo F. Jensen, 68, a resident of Lakeland for many years, died Thursday, Sept. 1, at Hudson Memorial hospital.
The son of Christ and Trena Marie Jensen, he was born in Peterton, Kansas, July 30, 1887 and attended schools in that city.
During his life he was employed as a mechanic for the Libby, McNeill & Libby Canning Co., at Rochester, Minnesota until his retirement in 1952.
Surviving are his wife, Anna, one son, Howard of Minneapolis; one daughter, Margaret (Mrs. Rolie Ferrell) of St. Paul; one brother, G. roy Jensen of Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Mabel (Mrs. E. H. Cluff) of Topeka, Kansas and Mrs. Anna Baer of Ness City, Kansas; seven grandchildrn; nieces and nephews, and three stepsons, John R. Kees of Minneapolis, Francis E. and Thomas W. Kees, both of Hudson.
Funeral services were Sunday at the First Congregational church of Lakeland. Interment was in Lakeview cemetery.
