Walter C. Rassmussen, 76, died Sept. 19 in his New Richmond home.
He was born Dec. 4, 1909 in Withee to Andrew and Christine (Larson)
Rassmussen.
He married Jane M. Jenson in Earl in June, 1962. He farmed on his own farm
for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife Jane, one son, the Rev. Robert Riley of
Richfield, Minn.; two brothers, Carl of Mankato and Earnest of Appleton and two
sisters, Mrs. Karen (Tim) Moore of Springbrook and Mrs. Ann (James) Stanley of
Bloomington.
A memorial service was held Sept. 24 in Beebe Mortuary. It was officiated
by the Rev. Robert Riley. Mrs. Judy Riley was organist while Mrs. Jane Vega
and Barb Lau were the singers.
Burial was in Earl Cemetery with arrangements made by Beebe Mortuary.
