Thaddeus Herbert Partch
Thaddeus Herbert Partch, who died last Tuesday, was born in Vermont in the year 1931. He came to the state of Illinois when he was 15 years old.
He was married to Miss Emily Potter of Davistown, Illinois, and lived with her until his death.
He joined the Methodist Episcopal church when 15 years of age and was a member of that church for over 40 years.
He went west to South Dakota in 1882 and there being no Methodist Episcopal church he joined the Weslayan Methodist church. He was ordained in that church and preached for them until he as superannuated.
Eight children were born to them of which a widow and seven children survive, a son having died.
