Mary Gwen Lund, 38, of Hudson died Saturday, Feb. 20 at St.Paul Ramsey Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 19, 1954, in St.Paul, the daughter of John A. and Ruth Jenson Lund.
She graduated from Hudson High School in 1972 and later attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
She held various child care positions in the Hudson area and was a former employee of Wadia Digital. Most recently she was a convenience store manager at In and Out in Maplewood, Minn.
Her hobbies included baking bread, fishing, camping and crocheting. She especially enjoyed being around people.
Surviving are a son, Brandon Lund of Hammond; two sisters, Jane Vega (Mrs. Alfredo) of Hudson, and Joan Johnson (Mrs. Robert) of Marshfield; two nephews and a niece, Diego, Erick and Stephanie Vega of Hudson; four aunts, Marge Jenson of River Falls, Laura Kinney of River Falls, Leila Christiansen of Wessington Springs, S.D., and Jane Rasmussen of New Richmond; and a special friend, Dave Steveson of Oakdale, Minn.
Visitation was at Murphy Funeral Home. Services are Thursday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Karen Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Willow River Cemetery, where casketbearers will be Robert Lund, Richard Lund, Dan Hendricks, Tom Godbout, Alfredo Vega and Hugh Gwin.
