Mrs. J. H. Jenson, who suffered the amputation of her left limb at the knee on July 28 at Bethesda hospital, St. Paul, is recuperating nicely and looking forward to returning home in the near future.

Mrs. Jens Jensen
Mrs. Jens (Clara) Jensen, 65 years old, and a resident of Hudson for nearly a half century, died very suddenly at Bethesda Hospital, St. Paul, Minn., last Saturday morning, January 17, 1953.
She was born in Biri, Norway on August 17, 1887, the daughter of Marie and Jens Sveen. She migrated to the United States with her parents when 17 years of age. She was married to Jens Jensen, who preceded her in death on March 19, 1947.
Mrs. Jensen was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Mission Circle No. 4, Daughters of Norway, Aid Society Norden, American Legion Auxiliary and Loyal Star, and Rebekahs.
She is survived by her daughter, Isabel (Mrs. Lloyd Humphrey) and one brother, Haakon Sveen of Hudson, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body lay in state at the Jasper Funeral Home until one o'clock Monday afternoon, when the remains were taken to the Bethel Lutheran Church where services were held at 2 o'clock, Rev. N. P. Scheide officiating. Mrs. N. P. Scheide sang "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages", accompanied by Mrs. Delbert Sather at the organ. Interment was made in Willow River Cemetery. The pallbearers were Gust Flattum, Gust Myrvold, John Lund, Alfred Arntson, Harry Olson and Roy Huddelson.
