Frank E. Bethel, 64, Dies Thursday
Frank E. Bethel, aged 64 years, passed away Thursday morning, July 3, 1930, at his home just out of North Hudson.
On the previoys Sunday morning he was stricken with paralysis and died Thursday morning without regaining consciousness. He had been in poor health for the past year.
Mr. Bethel was born at Oregon, Wis., June 10, 1866, and had lived in that vicinity until coming to Hudson about ten years ago to follow the pursuit of agriculture. He located on a farm east of Hudson. About seven years ago he purchased the present Bethel home beyond North Hudson.
He was married to Lillian Jackson at Paoli, Wis., July 3, 1887. To this union three children were born. They are Max of Rockton, Wis., Glen of Madison and Lester of Hudson, who with the widow and one brother, Forest of Oregon, Wis., are left to mourn his death.
Funeral services were held at the Episcopal church on Friday morning, Rev. B. A. Williams officiating.
Burial was made at Oregon, on Saturday, the pallbearers being old neighbors of the deceased.
