H.E. Davis, father of Mrs. E. F. Crosby, died at the Crosby residence on the south side Saturday afternoon. Deceased was over 80 years of age and had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Crosby, for some time. The remains were shipped to Estellie, S.D., Monday, being accompanied by a son of the deceased who arrived here Monday morning, and by Mr. Crosby, who went as far as Glendive. A brief funeral service was conducted at the house at 12:30 Monday by Rev. Dodds of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
