A PRETTY JUNE WEDDING
Miss Amy Karras Becomes the Bridge of Mr. Edward Burnson on Wednesday Evening
The marriage of Miss Amy Karras and Edward Burnson of Madison, Wis., took place at the home of the bride's father, Mr. Albert Karras at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening. The ceremony was read under a canopy of ferns and carnations by Rev. James Benson of Grantsburg, a cousin of the bride.
Miss Lillian Hausner of St. Paul played the wedding march. Miss Karras was attended by her sister Miss Etta Karras. Clyde Montieth of St. Paul acted as best man.
The bride wore a gown of white marquisette over white silk, trimmed with real lace and pearls, and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. A wedding dinner followed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Burnson left in the evening for a trip to Chicago after which they will make their home in Madison. Only immediate relatives were present, those from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Albitz, Myron Karras, John Hausner and family, Mrs. Otto W. Bremer of St. Paul, Mrs. William Trenkle, Mr. and Mrs. John Carlson, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Roberts of Minneapolis, Mrs. Willis Schwerin and Miss Elsie Siebert of Delano, Minn., Rev. and Mrs. James Benson of Grantsburg, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Thelander of River Falls, Mrs. A. C. Robertson of Stillwater.

Mrs. Adolph Burnson of Minneapolis was buried at Willow River cemetery here Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Robert Sachtjen officiated at the graveside service.
Mrs. Burnson, the former Amy Karras, grew up in Hudson and attended school here. She had a sister, Etta, and a brother, Myron.
