Major Ray Karras Dies In Florida at Age 57
Word has been received here of the death of Marjor Ray W. Karras at Lake City, Florida on November 9. He was 57 years old. Since receiving his medical degree, he has been in continual service as physician and surgeon with the Veterans' Facilities in Sautelle, California and Dallas, Texas. He was a member of Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity and the Masonic lodge.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Ray Walter, Jr., a student at Harvard; a daughter, Nancy; a brother, M. A. Karras of St. Paul; and two sisters, Mrs. A. S. Burnson and Mrs. L. C. Monteith, Minneapolis. Burial took place at Arlington Cemetery, Washington, D. C.
