Daniel Victor Johnson

Daniel V. Johnson, 79, died Nov. 27 in a Pasadena, California hospital. He had lived in Pasadena since his retirement.
He was born in Hudson, December 19, 1885, a son of Olaus and Karoline Johnson. The family resided at 1219 Fifth St.
At the time of his retirement he was assistant treasurer of the Universal Atlas Cement company. He had lived for many years in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by nieces, Hendriette Jenson of Golden, Colorado, and Mrs. Ernest Thygeson of Calgary, Alt., and nephews, Owen F. Jenson and Norman C. Jenson, both of Whitefish, Montana.
Mr. Johnson had five brothers, Hans, Albert, Chris, Rudolph and Ferdinand, and two sisters, Olga (Mrs. Olaf Jenson) and Hilma, all deceased.
A long standing member of the Masonic Lodge, he was buried Tuesday, Nov. 30, after Masonic services at Mountain View Mortuary in Altadena, California.
