Former Resident Interred in Fish Lake Cemetery

Emma Kristina Carlson (nee Englund) was born June 5, 1884 in Stora Tuna Parish,
Kopperbergs, Lan, Sweden, where she was baptized and confirmed. She immigrated
to the United States in 1927. In 1930 she was united in marriage to Ernest
Carlson of Fish Lake Township. The Carlson's resided on a farm there until
about two years ago when they moved to Minneapolis.

Mrs. Carlson had been in ill health for several years. She passed away at the
Bethesda Invalid Home in St. Paul on Sept. 2, 1945, having attained the age of
61 years, 3 months and 7 days.

Surviving are her husband, Ernest Carlson, of Minneapolis, and two adopted
children, Donald in the U.S. Navy and Marian, Mrs. Stanley Gilquist, of
Livermore, California, one sister, Mrs. Gust Swenson and three brothers, Carl
Englund of Cambridge, Minnesota; August Anderson, of Minneapolis; and Alfred
Englund of Barlonge, Sweden, other relatives and friends.
