(Judy) Engstrom, Hudson; brothers Bob and Bill Olson, Hudson; 7 grandchildren,
2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services 2 pm Friday, Trinity Lutheran Church,
Hudson. Interment Willow River Cemetery, Hudson, WI.

FRANCES L. ENGSTROM, 74
Frances Lorraine Engstrom, 74, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died Tuesday
morning, March 19, at the Christian Community Home in Hudson where she had
lived since August 1991.
She was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Hudson, the daughter of Frank J. and Anna
(Peterson) Olson, and attended local schools, graduating from Hudson High
School in the class of 1939.
On April 18, 1942, in Seattle, Wash., she was married to Raymond A.
Engstrom, and they divorced in 1978.
During her working career she did administrative and secretarial work at
the United Refrigerator Co. in Hudson and at the St. Croix County Veterans'
Service Office at the courthouse until her retirement in 1985.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and having time to spend with her family and
grandchildren. Her bright and warm nature attracted a large circle of friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith (James) Beaudry of St. Charles, MO., and
Jan (Jayson) Tritt of North Hudson; a son, William R. (Judith Ann) Engstrom of
Hudson; two brothers, William K. Olson of Hudson and Robert L. Olson of Sioux
Falls, SD; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church
in Hudson with the Rev. Jon T. Haakana officiating. At the service Debra
McPhetres was organist and accompanied vocal soloists Jimmy and Sue Olson.
Burial was in Willow River Cemetery where the casketbearers were Jayson L.
Tritt, James Beaudry, Kevin Beaudry, Robert Olson, David Peterson and Richard
Wetzel.
A visitation was from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at O'Connell's Valley
Funeral Home in Hudson.
