Allen John Dew owned a large farm near Conway, Horry Co., South Carolina. Allen and Mary had eleven children. They are buried in the Dew family cemetery near the old home place. Carrie is the daughter of John Robertson Cooper and Nancy Roberts. Carrie died a few days after she married Allen, and is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway SC.
