===Charles County Land Record Book S#3, 1770-1775; Page 248. Dec 31, 1771 from Zachariah Bond and Henry Greenfeild Sothoron of St Mary's County, merchants, to John Barnes and Thomas How Ridgate of CC, merchants. Robert Horner of CC, merchant, on May 27, 1768, sold to sd Zachariah Bond and Henry Greenfeild Sothoron, several tracts of land [see Charles County Land Record Book S#3, 1770-1775; Page 410]. Now sd Zachariah Bond and Henry Greenfield Sothoron, for 513 £, have sold to John Barnes and Thomas How Ridgate, as tenants in common, all the tracts of land so as afd sold by sd Horner to Bond and Sothoron. Bond and Sothoron are not to be answerable to Barnes and Ridgate for any defect there may be in the title to the before mentioned tracts but what Bond and Sothoron derive from Horner by deed or mortgage. Signed - Zach Bond, Henry G Sothoron. Wit - Thomas Bond, Jeremiah Jordan (St Mary's County JPs). This deed was acknowledged in St Mary's County; Margaret Bond, wife of Zachariah Bond, and Elizabeth Sothoron, wife of sd Henry Greenfield Sothoron, relinquished their rights of dower.
