From Mr. John Beale being a legacy left his wife the admx by her father Mr. Hugh Tears dec'd. To funeral charges, 14 July 1712. (NJL's note: In this, the admin William Midleton is speaking. It is William Middleton's wife to whom the phrase "left his wife" is referring. John Beale was the next husband of Hugh Teares' wife, Eleanor.)
