Birth
Of Margaret Potts we have no definite account. The tradition mentioned in .the last Chapter, alleges that she was a daughter of Jone Potts, the widow.Marriage
Marriage to Margaret POTTS: (1) 1712. (2,3b) Richard COX granted certificate from Kennett Monthly Meeting to Abington Monthly Meeting, PA, to marry with "a friend belonging to ye monthly meeting of Abington in ye County of Philada.", 5 2nd mo. 1712. (3a) Was taxed as married in 1715.received a certificate from Newark, 2, 5, 1712, in order for marriage with Margaret Potts, of Gwynedd Mo. Mtg., which marriage was accomplished 3, 26, 1712. They resided in Kennet and had children, Anna, Sarah, Richard, Jonathan, Joseph, Benjamin and John.
