"Nathan settled in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County. He was buried in the Plymouth Meeting graveyard, a small tombstonemarked "N.P." still stood at the turn of the century. A brief search in 1979 did not relveal it, but there are hundreds. Esther died subsequent to 1780. They had 6 children, the third of whom was Nathan born January 8, 1741 and died in 1819."

He settled in Whitemarsh Township, now included in MontgomeryCounty, where he died in 1754. His will was made May 31, 1754, and proven October 1, in the same year, is recorded at Philadelphia. He was buried in the Friends graveyard at Plymouth, a few miles from Conshohocken. A small tombstone, with the initials of N.P., still marks his resting place. Esther Potts, was living in 1780, when the assessment list for PlymouthTownship states that Zebulon Potts has an aged mother to support.

He married Esther Rhoads, as shown by the records of the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. As his marriage was accomplished contrary to the usage of Friends, he was required to make acknowledgement for his "outgoing," which he made 11 mo. 31,1742, to Abington Monthly Meeting.Death
