He was buried in Dry Creek Cem., Edgefield Crthse, Edgefield, SC.His will dated 26 Mar 1799 mentions sons Benjamin and Samuel; daus Sarah who m Adams and Betsey who m Swillivan; also Nancy and Anna, unmarried. To each was given a negro man & wf and they were to divide balance of est after thier mother's death. "Loving wife Nancy and loving son Benjamin" exrs.
